Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe for pets?
Every pesticide we use is registered with the EPA, and we primarily use Level 1 regulated products. Depending on the situation, we tailor our treatments with different pesticides and methods to ensure the most effective and safe approach.
Do you offer Contracts?
We do not use contracts, have no early cancellation fees, and no obligations—cancel anytime.
How often do you visit for routine pest service?
We visit every 3 months, providing service 4 times a year, with additional support in between as needed.
How often is the billing cycle?
Once per month.
How does billing work?
After your first appointment, you will receive an email with a link to our online payment system. For added convenience, we encourage you to set up autopay.
What do you do during routine visits?
We remove webs, spray for ants (or use granular bait when it’s raining), inspect for rodent activity, and refill bait boxes if present.
Do you offer short-term pest control?
Yes, we do, depending on the pest we offer anywhere from 30 days to 1 year.
What do you do in crawlspaces?
We will remove the existing vapor barrier and replace it with 6mm thick black plastic. While we don’t remove or replace insulation, we can clean up debris that fits into a large plastic bag pulled through the crawlspace entrance. We handle vents and small holes, but cannot work on large doors or openings. We can also remove fallen insulation if it’s contaminated, but we do not offer full insulation removal or replacement.
Are the exterior locking rodent bait stations dog-proof?
They are tamper-resistant, however, if a dog is a chewer, or highly food-motivated we recommend not having it accessible to them.
Do you drill and treat?
We will drill and treat carpenter ants only when necessary, for termites we generally only use a baiting system.
What pests do you require an estimate for?
Termites, carpenter ants, wood beetles, and bedbugs.
Do you go into crawlspaces during routine visits?
We can routinely go in, but there’s an additional cost depending on the difficulty.
Do you use eco-friendly pesticides?
Depending on the type of pest, we offer more environmentally friendly treatment options whenever possible.
