Pest Control and the Safety of Our Children

When parents think of pest control they tend to think of pesticides.  Obviously, the public has become aware of pesticides and some of the negative impacts they can have on human health and our environment. Similar to childhood vaccinations, pesticides are necessary to protect the safety of our population.  Pesticides are used to protect our health, our property, our food and our way of life. Even though there are clear benefits to using pesticides, allowing exposure to children and adults is controversial.

When you hear of a pesticide disaster on the news, it is almost always due to misapplication. We are professionals and follow pesticide application rules exactly.  For schools, we are required by the state to follow even stricter policies and must inform staff and parents prior to application.

We Like to Stay on the Safe Side!

Black’s Pest Services is greatly concerned for the safety of children and does not promote pesticide use when it is not absolutely necessary. For example, we recommend baiting (spot treatment) for ants rather than spraying as it significantly reduces the likelihood of a child coming in contact with the pesticide.?

At Blacks We Promise

  1. To protect your student’s safety as if they were our own children.
  2. To strictly follow all state regulations and make safety our number one priority.
